Lela White / Bio

Hi my name is Lela White, 
I’m a 2nd-year neuroscientist at the University of Nottingham. I’m very excited to be sitting on the Board of Trustees for such an important charity supporting young women such as myself and those surrounded by me.

I have a big vision for the movement of bringing awareness on violence against women – seeing a shift in how people view women in society and what we must change to stay safe when in reality we must educate the perpetrator.

Sitting on the board, I want to bring  this message to life through engagements in the creative arts and sports ( dance: ballet, netball, etc.)
